Greetings Beady Ones,
I am in North Carolina! So is my stuff! I
finally have a working phone line & internet! It has not been
a very smooth transition......
My Friend Moe & I missed Thanksgiving dinner at Enota
by about 2.5 hours. My son David, his wife Amanda and the
Grandbabies waited patiently and ate w/o us. We almost got to West
Virginia by accident…. I wasn’t doing my navigator job very well….
Hope all of yours was awesome! Filled w/ Gratitude, Family,
Friends, and lots of Love.
My first morning in the new house I got out of the
shower to manic house guests explaining they don’t know why sewage
is backing up in the lower level bathroom! The brand new cork
flooring installed 2 weeks ago in my art studio was carried away by
the restoration team an hour or so later. Sunday evening my water
filter busted open and soaked everything again! At least it was
clean water this time. And thank God my stuff hadn't arrived yet!
Monday morning a big semi w/ my car, motorcycle, & stuff showed up.
They had to park the truck in town about 2 miles away and shuttle
about 5 or 6 loads w/ a smaller U-Haul truck. In the pouring rain
all day and all night. They started about 8am & went till about 11pm
by the time they were done.
So now everyone is gone and I’m trying to find my
stuff. Since most everything was suppose to go in the art studio
space and can’t now, my garage is packed to the ceiling. Poor
Ethylene (my Harley) is under the deck waiting for a spot in the
garage…. Thank God for insurance is all I have to say! Spent the
past 3 days peeling contact paper out of my kitchen cabinets…
contact paper was designed by satan, is all I can think right now….
